Memory loss, disorientation, mood and behavior changes are some of the most common symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Today, more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. Lori, a team member here at our agency, whose mom Sheila was diagnosed with the progressive disease, says that the disease “doesn’t just affect one person – it affects the entire family.”
Alzheimer’s is not a normal part of aging and currently has no cure. The only treatment available only slows the symptoms but cannot stop it from progressing. We believe it’s crucial for our communities to support Alzheimer’s research and help so many people, like Lori’s mom, who are struggling.
Please join our agency as we raise awareness and funds as tribute to Sheila Drennon and the millions of Americans across our nation with Alzheimer’s. Donations will help fund vital research and essential support programs and services.
